During the pandemic, DTU has implemented online education systems for the safety of students, lecturers and staff. Is this effective? There is evidence that learning online can be even more effective than face-to-face in several ways. Let’s listen to some student comments on their remote teaching and examinations experiences.

On August 5, DTU, the Okayama Shoka University in Japan and the JOOSS Education & Training Support Vietnam signed an agreement online to prepare DTU students for study or work in Japan after the pandemic. Professor Ijiri Akio, Provost of Okayama Shoka University; Mr. Shohei Yabuki, Chief Representative of the JOOSS Education & Training Support in Japan; Dr. Le Nguyen Bao, DTU Provost; Dr. Le Vinh An, Director of the Vietnam-Japan Strategic Cooperation Institute, DTU lecturers and staff attended.

The “Free Emergency Aid” team stands ready 24/7 to help people in their homes, take them to the Phuc Khang Hospital or transfer them somewhere else, depending on patient requirements and status, all at no cost. The Free Emergency Aid program is coordinated by Dr. Pham Thi Anh Hong from DTU and the medical team at Phuc Khang Hospital. Their objective is to provide optimal support to the medical sector during the pandemic and help normal people with social distancing.

Recently, DTU has reported that all graduates in most majors find work immediately or are even hired in advance, during their final year at university. Potential applicants aim to select a university with a suitable major that fulfils their needs and ambitions and, most importantly, one that guarantees fast, full-time employment.
