DTU K19 Students Enjoy Extra Curricula Activities

On Sept 9th, new K19 students took part in some extra curricula activities to kick-off the new academic year.

After giving a warm welcome to the new students, Associate Professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh, DTU Vice-Provost, gave a general overview of DTU concerning its history, development, mission, goals and academic programs. He emphasized the great achievements of DTU over the past few years, both nationally and worldwide. On enrollment, students can be confident about the high standard of education available to them at DTU.

 

Associate Professor Minh gave a brief introduction about DTU  
 
He added: ”Presently, DTU is one of the key human resource providers for companies and enterprises in the Central region and almost all our graduates secure good jobs. We are proud that their qualifications and skills are highly regarded in the business community and work hard to enhance the reputation of DTU even further."
 
A video entitled "DTU - the first and largest private university in the Central region", produced by DTU Communication Center, was shown to the new students.
 

New K19 students enjoy activities run by the DTU Youth Association

Vo Thi Ngoc Lan, a new students of Hospitality & Tourism said: "The quality of education at DTU is better than many of the public universities in the area. I have researched information about DTU and I now know that the DTU Hospitality and Tourism Department is becoming famous for the high percentage of students getting jobs upon graduation. Personally, I think that DTU is the best choice.”

Do Thi My stated: "After watching the video clip and listening to Professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh, I am happy to study in such a dynamic environment. I am impressed by the modern facilities and equipment. I must now study very hard to achieve high results.

Interesting musical performances and activities organized by the Accounting Faculty made the event more and more exciting. Hoai Thuong of DTU K19 said: "At first, I felt a bit unconfident because everything seemed so strange. Gradually, I felt more at home and have already made some new friends.”

Mr. Duong Dinh Hung, Secretary of the DTU Youth Association, said:"Participating in interesting activities, new students have the chance to get to each other and learn about teamworking skills.”

Certainly the new students will be ready to begin the new school year after participating in these activities during their first week at DTU.
