Design Competition for the Cladding of Building Block A - DTU 120 Hoang Minh Thao Campus

In order to select the best design option for the new project of the university, DTU has launched a competition in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture, DTU School of Technology to directly implement the competition "Architectural Cladding Design Competition for Building Block A - DTU 120 Hoang Minh Thao Campus." The competition aims to create a healthy and beneficial playground for faculty members and students in the field of Architecture - Construction through unique design proposals.

The "Architectural Cladding Design Competition for Building Block A - DTU 120 Hoang Minh Thao Campus"
is a great opportunity for faculty members and students to showcase their architectural design talents
 
Taking place from February 22 to March 20, the competition is open to a large number of DTU faculty members, students, and alumni, as well as students majoring in Architecture from other universities in Da Nang. This is an excellent opportunity to mobilize the potential of teachers and students in the field of Architecture - Construction in designing and consulting proposals for the university's upcoming new building complex.
 
With a total prize of up to 29 million VND, the competition promises to attract enthusiastic participation from contestants. The prizes include:
 
1 First Prize: 10 million VND;
2 Second Prizes: 5 million VND each;
3 Third Prizes: 3 million VND each.
 
The Building Block G - DTU 120 Hoang Minh Thao Campus,
an impressively designed structure, newly put into use by DTU
 
Contestants are tasked with designing detailed cladding for Building Block A - DTU 120 Hoang Minh Thao Campus based on the overall site plan and details of Block A. According to requirements, this structure will consist of 7 floors, and the designers are free to use materials and colors. Authors can use materials such as glass, concrete, wood, metal, or combine multiple materials and colors to create unique and impressive design options. The number of entries is not limited, allowing contestants to demonstrate their creativity and unique architectural thinking.
 
Submission requirements include presenting the entry in an A0 landscape format (1,188mm long x 840mm wide) and including:
 
- Design concept;
- Overall perspectives;
- Perspectives of key areas;
- Detailed architectural cladding drawings (with positioning axes and full dimensions);
- Detailed structural cladding drawings (ensuring feasibility during construction);
- Summary description of the entry.
 
All entries must not include information about the author/authors but only a self-selected code consisting of 6 characters, including 02 letters followed by 04 numbers (e.g., AB-1234).
