DTU Becomes a Member of Vietnamese Law School Network

On June 11, 2024, the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Law School Network (VLSN) held a ceremony to announce and award the decision recognizing DTU as an official member of the Network. The ceremony was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University of Law, Hue University, Head of the VLSN Executive Board; along with members of the Executive Board; Hero of Labor, Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU Chairman;  faculty heads; lecturers and staff of the DTU Faculty of Law.

Founded in September 2019, VLSN has become an organization with numerous activities focused on connecting, exchanging, and supporting each other in legal training and research activities, aiming to provide the highest quality human resources to society. Over more than five years of development, the network has attracted the participation of many law schools across the country. Currently, the network includes 63 member institutions and an Executive Board consisting of five permanent members and two extended members.

Assoc.Prof. Dr.  Doan Duc Luong said: "Becoming a member of the Vietnamese Law School Network is not only an important milestone for DTU but also a testament to the close cooperation and sustainable development within the system of law training institutions in Vietnam. The Network's first ceremony to announce and award membership to DTU further affirms the recognition and growth of the Network.
 
As the Rector of the University of Law, Hue University, I have closely followed DTU and Hue University since the two institutions signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement. In a relatively short time since the agreement, both institutions have implemented numerous activities to support training and scientific research. We are very impressed with the achievements DTZU has attained over the past 30 years. DTU has consistently appeared in prestigious global rankings and has provided a significant number of high-quality human resources to society. Congratulations on the achievements the university has attained over the past 30 years of construction and development. We always hope that both institutions will continue to grow stronger in the future to provide the highest quality human resources for various industries."
 
At the ceremony, PhD candidate Tran Cao Thanh, Secretary of the VLSN Executive Board, announced the decision recognizing DTU as a new member of the Network. Assoc.Prof. Dr.  Doan Duc Luong presented the decision and membership certificate to DTU.
 
DTU officially becoming a member of the VLSN will open up numerous opportunities for collaboration, experience sharing, and mutual support among law training institutions nationwide, contributing to the enhancement of legal training and research quality in Vietnam.
