DTU Meets with Journalists to Celebrate the 99th Anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day

On June 18th, DTU met with Danang journalists to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day (21/6/1925 - 21/6/2024), and thanked them for their support over the past 30 years.

On behalf of DTU Board of Provosts, DTU Vice-Provost Dr. Vo Thanh Hai congratulated the journalists on the anniversary. He also expressed their deep gratitude for the attention and support that journalists and reporters have given to DTU.

Additionally, Dr. Vo Thanh Hai gave a brief overview of the enrollment, the teaching, research achievements and awards that DTU has achieved so far. 
 
According to Dr. Hai, in 2024, besides significant investments in facilities and improving the quality of education, DTU has focused on organizing the Job Fair program with the aim of strengthening connections with businesses and providing students with many "golden" job opportunities. DTU is ranked 495th in the QS Rankings 2025, holding the top position among Vietnamese universities in this ranking.

During the meeting, journalists, reporters, and DTU shared many concerns and proposed practical ideas and suggestions to enhance the effectiveness of media collaboration between DTU and press agencies in the future.
 
On behalf of the journalists, Mr. Tran Long, from the VTV8, expressed his appreciation of DTU’s accomplishments and said: "We are delighted to have accompanied DTU and to have heard so much good news, including major awards for both faculty and students, as well as the university's achievements in education and research. We hope that in the future, DTU faculty members and experts will continue to collaborate with news agencies, making media appearances to provide insights on the connection between human resource training and the development of Da Nang city and support journalists in their professional activities to meet society's information needs promptly."
