In his speech at the signing ceremony, Dr. Le Nguyen Bao stated, “I highly value the collaboration between PSB Academy and DTU. In Da Nang, students often have fewer study abroad opportunities compared to those in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, partly due to the lower cost of living and partly because many Da Nang students tend to choose to study in the US or Australia. However, I believe that Singapore is an ideal choice as it is close to Vietnam, highly developed, and has an advanced education system.

On the other hand, some students may think that Singapore is quite small and lacks opportunities for diverse experiences. However, it is clear that Singapore is like the hub of ASEAN-a large community where we can easily travel to other countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand to experience different cultures and learn together. Therefore, we believe that through this partnership, many academic and cultural exchange opportunities will open up for our students.

We have collaborated with institutions like Singapore Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic, but these were primarily exchange programs. I hope that partnering with PSB Academy will provide Vietnamese students with more study opportunities close to home while still being able to earn degrees from UK or Australian universities without having to travel far.”
