The 2024 Hybrid Mobility in Health Science Program Opening Ceremony

On June 11, 2024, the opening ceremony of the Hybrid Mobility in Health Science 2024 program took place in both online and offline formats, welcoming students from DTU and 17 other universities from higher education institutions across Southeast Asia and other countries around the world.

In her opening speech, Dr. Donna Padilla-Taguiba, Panpacific University Provost, shared: “At this moment, P2A continues to expand its network while enhancing friendship and cooperation among member universities from ASEAN countries. This event not only updates us with information and raises awareness about the importance of Health Science but also provides us with the opportunity to learn from each other. With experts in this field and eager-to-learn participants, I believe that the discussions in this Hybrid Mobility program will help students strengthen their knowledge in Health Science. The insights gained throughout this event will significantly benefit students in enhancing practical applications in this field. I am truly delighted to welcome all of you to the 2024 Hybrid Mobility program in Health Science. I wish you all a successful and meaningful journey in today's program.”

Participant will have the opportunity to choose topics for discussion and collaborate in groups. They will work together to complete videos and design websites related to their chosen projects

 

The 2024 Hybrid Mobility in Health Science program takes place from June 11 to July 9, 2024, with over 110 students participating from 17 universities and higher education institutions across Southeast Asia and other countries worldwide, including:

-    Binus University (Indonesia)
-    Bukidnon State University (Philippines)
-    Davao del Sur State College (Philippines)
-    Duy Tan University (Vietnam)
-    Eastern Visayas State University (Philippines)
-    Liceo de Cagayan University (Philippines)
-    Malayan Colleges Laguna (Philippines)
-    Northwestern University (USA)
-    Panpacific University (Philippines)
-    Phenikaa University (Vietnam)
-    Rizal Technological University
-    Saint Mary's University (Canada)
-    STI Myanmar University (Myanmar)
-    Temasek College (Singapore)
-    Dhyana Pura University Bali (Indonesia)
-    University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (Philippines)
-    World Citi Colleges (Philippines)

Participants will have the opportunity to choose topics for discussion and collaboration, including:

-    Nutrition
-    Various Cancers
-    Infectious Diseases
-    Noncommunicable diseases 
-    Over-the-Counter Medications
-    Learning Environment and Employment Opportunities

They will work together in groups to complete videos and design websites related to their chosen projects. Additionally, many engaging activities will be held to provide opportunities for participants to meet and connect with a community of talented students from across the ASEAN region.

Participants in the Hybrid Mobility in Health Science 2024 program can look forward to numerous practical benefits, such as: Opportunities to attend lectures with leading experts in the field; Hands-on practice and enhanced English communication skills; Networking with international students; Obtaining Certificates of participation; Development of essential professional skills.
 
Mr. John Octavious S.
