Key figures like Dr. Karina Montilla Edmonds, Senior Vice President and Global Director of the SAP University Alliances, shared insights at the talk show

The event attracted renowned experts including Dr. Karina Montilla Edmonds, Senior Vice President and Global Director of the SAP University Alliances; Mr. Crispian Tan, Senior Director of SAP University Alliances for APJ; Mr. Michael Lim, Director of TDI APJ; Mr. Nguyen Hong Viet, CEO of SAP Vietnam; and Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhat, Deputy Director of the DTU Business Intelligence Center, alongside a large number of DTU students.

As one of the main speakers, Dr. Karina Montilla Edmonds expressed, "This is my first time in Vietnam and also my first time in the beautiful coastal city of Da Nang. Coming from a very small island in the Caribbean, I feel very at home here. I love the weather, I love the beach, and everything about your city. Thank you for welcoming us and organizing this talk show. I joined SAP about 4 years ago, and one of the reasons I joined SAP is because SAP's mission has truly resonated with me: to help the world run better and improve people's lives. I am proud of the work we are doing in this field. Of course, alongside developing strong technical skills, I always advise students to have a strong learning mindset and also focus on developing communication skills. To have an open and broad mindset, be flexible and adaptable in every environment and situation. Now, with advancements in AI, more than ever, what's crucial is our ability to communicate - as humans with each other."

The talk show attracted the participation of many renowned experts and a large number of students

The talk show focused on two main topics:

•    Requirements for experience, skills, and necessary tools for future careers of graduating students.
•    Introduction to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for resource planning.

The talk show commenced with Dr. Karina Montilla Edmonds sharing insights on "Global Trends: What Companies Are Seeking in Students as the Next Generation of Talent." She emphasized the importance of mastering both soft and technical skills, encouraging students to continuously learn and develop themselves to meet the increasingly high demands of the global job market.

Discussing "The Benefits of Having Knowledge or Understanding of SAP ERP in the Job Market and How These Skills Can Enhance Your Employability," Mr. Michael Lim provided a clear explanation of how SAP ERP, an advanced enterprise resource planning system, can make students stand out to recruiters and open up various appealing career opportunities.

Lastly, in his segment on "Personal Development to Meet Post-Graduation Job Market Demands and What Students Should Start Doing Now," Mr. Nguyen Hong Viet offered practical and valuable advice to help students gain a clearer direction for career development and specific steps to prepare for the future. According to him, to achieve differentiation and success in their careers, young people must enhance their ability to self-study, strive for continuous learning because knowledge is never sufficient, and adapt skills as they evolve daily and hourly. Once students have a solid academic foundation, they should focus on three key points: Always aspire to win, put in maximum effort, and remain persistent in pursuing their set goals.

Throughout the talk show, speakers enthusiastically answered many questions from students, addressing topics such as the necessity of developing all skills versus focusing on key ones, the benefits of gaining real-world experience in today's rapidly developing technology era, and which skills or technicians will be highly valued by global employers in the future.

Frances Summer Dale V. Dy from the Philippines, a recent graduate in Marketing and Strategy Management from Nam Khue Management Institute, said, "As a recent graduate of DTU, I have been exploring many job opportunities at SAP. Therefore, today's talk show is really meaningful to me. From the practical and useful insights of the experts, I now have more valuable information about some essential skills needed to become a successful consultant. I also gained a clearer understanding of the history of SAP-ERP in Asia-Pacific and how global businesses integrate this software into their management operations. Currently, I am considering SAP as a feasible option for my future career."
