The Students’ Beauty through Lens contest was first held in 2011. The forth contest, in 2017, attracted many students from many universities, colleges and high schools in regional cities and provinces such as Danang, Quang Nam, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Dalat and Ho Chi Minh City to participate.

The Top 20 contestants wore many types of costumes such as evening dresses, traditional Ao Dai dresses and optional dresses and confidently and gracefully performed on the stage. Five contestants moved on to the next interview round. They all fluently answered all questions, so it was very difficult for the jury to choose the best faces.
Vo Buu Bich Tuyen , a student of DTU Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, won the first prize
With a professional style and intelligent answers, Vo Buu Bich Tuyen, a student of the DTU Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, won the first prize, worth 5 million VND. Vo Dang Duy Luan, from the DTU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Le Thi Tu Trinh, from the DTU Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism both won second prizes, worth 2 million VND each. Two third prizes, worth 1 million VND each were awarded to Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, from the DTU Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism and Kieu Bao Ngoc, from Danang College of Commerce. Besides, five consolation prizes and the favorite face prize based on Facebook, worth 500,000 each, were awarded to contestants.
Other extra prizes such as Miss Natural Beauty by Cezanne, a Japanese prestige cosmetic brand; the Nary prize, sponsored by NaryWedding, a scholarship for a professional model training course from Rong Tien Sa Media and many vouchers, gifts and other scholarships were also awarded to candidates.
The final of the 2017 Students’ Beauty through Lens contest successfully ended with a lot of meticulous performances. DTU students not only achieve high records in learning and science research, but they also shine on the stage by their beauty and talents.
